Atlus, in partnership with developer Kylotonn [uRL=fckeditor.html?InstanceName=quickditor_qedit_9013188&Toolbar=quickedit#]Entertainment[/uRL] , has announced a new medieval action-adventure game today. Titled [i]The Cursed Crusade[/i], the game boasts two-player online/offline co-op in a story set at the
end of the 12th century revolving around a pair of cursed warriors fighting to save their souls.

“A story of salvation and survival, [i]The Cursed Crusade[/i] brings to life the mystery and allure of the Middle Ages,”
said Aram Jabbari, Manager of PR and Sales at Atlus.

“The game’s main characters are not heroes; they’re just men, susceptible to temptation,
easily
made to feel doubt and despair. The raw, gritty accuracy of many of the
game’s historical locations is sharply contrasted by Denz and
Esteban’s supernatural struggle to save their souls.

Their affliction, the Templar’s Curse, threatens to accelerate their descent into hell,
burning their humanity away as it engulfs the space around them in demonic flame.”

The game’s said to “marry the beauty and wonder of medieval Europe with thrilling adventure and dark fantasy.
” Its co-op third-person adventure promises to[b] “consume you.”[/b]

[i]The Cursed Crusade[/i] is scheduled for a summer 2011 release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Errinert mich irgendwie stark an Knights of the Temple, wo einfach das Feintuning gefehlt hat.
Könnte durchaus was werden, auch wenn mir der Entwickler nix sagt.

Hast du keines der Spiele der "Shin Megami Tensei"-Reihe (u.a. Persona 3 & 4, Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2) oder "Trauma Center"-Serie gespielt? Die waren alle von ATLUS.

Viel sieht man ja noch nicht, aber was vorhanden ist, schaut schon mal nicht schlecht aus
Bin gespannt, was da noch so draus werden wird. Bei ATLUS bin ich aber eigentlich zuversichtlich

Setting ist jetzt auch nicht so meins...

Hm, mal abwarten. Der Trailer hat irgendwie was. Wenn sich die Entwickler reinhängen und kein unfertiges Produkt in den Laden gestellt wird, könnte das durchaus interessant werden (aber wenn dich das Setting nicht kann man nichts machen).

Atlus ist der publisher, der Entwickler von the Cursed Crusade ist ein ganz anderer. (Wer atlus nicht kennt gehört in den hintern getreten. )
